Wendy Urtz Chapman

Wendy's journey embodies the transformative power of following one's passion. Dissatisfied with her former career, she embarked on a profound exploration of yoga during the pandemic, discovering a profound connection and sense of purpose within the practice. Motivated by a desire for deeper understanding, Wendy ventured onto the Yoga Teaching path, enrolling in the prestigious In Bloom Yoga 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Program post-pandemic. A graduate of the 2020 YTT class under the guidance of In Bloom Yoga, Wendy's commitment to her craft has been unwavering since. Continuously expanding her expertise, she obtained certifications in Yin Yoga (Levels 1 & 2), Aerial Yoga through Good Karma Yoga in Albany, and Sound Healing by Saraswati Om in 2023.

Wendy is currently immersed in her 300 Yoga Teacher Training, further solidifying her dedication to mastery in the field. Her exploration extends beyond traditional yoga, with forays into Energy Medicine and Kids Yoga. Wendy's impact extends beyond the studio, as she shares her knowledge and passion with her community.  Alongside her husband and their two children, Wendy calls Richfield Springs home, finding balance and fulfilment in her multifaceted roles as a yoga teacher, mother, and community leader.

Martha Kodsy

Martha’s journey with yoga began in the spring of 2016 when she crossed paths with Terra Meenan, founder of In Bloom Yoga. At a time of great transition — leaving behind nearly 25 years in hospital administration — Martha found herself drawn to yoga not just for its physical benefits, but for the grounding presence and mindfulness it brought into her life. Through private sessions with Terra, yoga became more than just a practice; it became a source of healing and inspiration. Touched by the positive impact it had on her own life, Martha quickly invited Terra to work with her son Mikey, who has special needs.

The sessions brought the same sense of calm and growth to Mikey, deepening Martha's belief in the power of yoga to meet people exactly where they are. When Terra decided to follow a new path, Martha knew she wanted to keep In Bloom’s spirit alive. With love, gratitude, and the support of the community, she stepped forward to continue the studio’s mission of making yoga accessible, welcoming, and transformative for all. A lifelong resident of Oneida County, Martha has always been dedicated to caring for others. She is a passionate advocate for children with special needs and actively supports the Kelberman Center and Lewis Oneida County ARC. In 2015, she was honored as the YWCA’s Woman of the Year in Healthcare. Martha and her husband, Dr. Raouf Kodsy, are proud parents to three adult children. Martha completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at In Bloom Yoga 2020 and has since continued her education with advanced trainings in Yoga 300hr, Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Nidra, and Mindfulness, and Sound Healing. She brings her heart, wisdom, and genuine care into every class she teaches.
